I am asking for prayers that God would take away all selfishness.

WV/MD Women's Credo will be meeting this weekend (It is a 3 day walk, like walk to Emmaus but with a recovery/healing focus). From Thursday evening until late Sunday afternoon 11 women will be experiencing a deep spiritual experience of God's love. Please pray for them to be receptive and to experience the healing that comes on a weekend like this.

Please pray that God gives me clarity in my situation. My husband is emotionally and verbally abusive. I wish I had left him long ago as my kids grew up watching him demean me but worst of all, he was very controlling and emotionally abusive to them as well. They are now adults and they want me to leave him. I just don't know how to make that happen. I've been with him since I was 20 years old and I don't know any other way to live but with him and the environment he created. I want to be free of this!! Please pray for me.

God has blessed me with a job I never could have imagined. I am so grateful for all he's done for me. However, I am looking around for other job opportunities as I have been in the same role for 5 years and would like a change. I don't want to make any hasty decisions and certainly don't want to jump into something I can't handle. Please pray for God to be in total control and provide wisdom and direction. Thank you!

Please pray for my son. He is 27 and in a relationship with a lovely girl. My son grew up with a dad who was very controlling. He grew up watching his father disregard my feelings, boss me around, make demeaning remarks, etc. I am worried that my son will mimic this behavior in his relationship. Although he is a kind person and good to her, I see signs of him disregarding her feelings just like how his dad treated me. Mind you, my husband's father was the same way. Please pray! I don't want this vicious cycle to continue.
